The objective of the project is to develop two separate lots of record with a residential single-family dwelling on each. The applicant requests two Coastal Development Permits with Public Hearings for the construction of two approximately two-story 1,797 square feet (s.f.) single-family dwellings, each with an approximately 528 s.f. attached garage on two separate legal parcels. Variances for building encroachment of 20 feet into the front setback for each parcel are also requested. Water would be obtained from Goleta Water District. Both houses would connect to the Goleta West Sanitary District sewer system. Approximately 761 s.f. of wetland delineated vegetation would be removed or disturbed to accommodate the building and deck. Approximately 350 s.f. of wetland delineated vegetation would be removed or disturbed to accommodate the building and deck. No native trees are proposed for removal.
