Document Description
Adoption of the Housing Element for the City of Sand City and approval of a negative declaration for the said Housing Element. The Housing Element, covers the 2002 to 2007 planning period, evaluates the current housing market and housing demands, and identifies the goals and programs to adequately meet current and projected future housing needs. The updated Element reviews the project housing needs within the time frame, summarizes housing constrain issues for the City, reviews, the previous 1991 Housing Element, outlines housing program and policy strategy addressing housing opportunities for all economic segments of the community, and evaluates the Element's consistency with the City's General Plan and Local Coastal Plan. This updated element will replace the 1991 Housing Element edition.
