Document Description
The proposed project is the adoption of a new redevelopment plan for a project area known as the La Cadena Corridor Redevelopment Project Area. The project area totals approximately 1,760 acres in the City of Colton and a 16-acre portion of unincorporated county land. It is proposed that a Program EIR be prepared for this project. The overall redevelopment goals for the project include, but are not limited to, the following: * To eliminate and prevent the spread of blight; * To support the City's housing efforts; * To provide adequate infrastructure; * To improve and expand public facilities; * To foster private investment of capital in the project area; * To improve and expand the commercial and industrial sector; * To encourage public participation in the planning and implementation of the Redevelopment Plan.
