Document Description
The proposed project would provide 66,515 gsf in a three-story building with a single story wing. The facility will provide office and meeting space for a variety of student organizations and activities, in addition to a child care center. The proposed project is consistent with the Academic land use designation on the site in the 1990 LRDP, which allows for administrative and student support uses. The LRDP Amendment is required because the site is not identified as a potential building location. The proposed project would create a new building site, #37. The proposed amendment ot the LRDP would result in no net change in the allocated development potential of the UCSB Main Campus, the amendment would transfer unused building allocation from Building Site #6 (17,400 asf), Building Site #8 (21,156 asf) and Building Site #2 (4,599 asf).
