Installation of a remote weather information system (RWIS) on State Route 70 in Plumas County,approximately four miles east of Quincy. The RWIS is comprised of weather monitoring equipment, a closed circuit television camera (CCTV), and two changeable message signs (CMS). The purpose of the RWIS is to monitor winter weather conditions.
