Document Description
The proposed project will add 166,116 gsf, and accommodation for freshmen students. The project will also provide common spaces for lounges, study rooms, laundries, and community kitchens. This project approval covers the first 400 beds (105,940 gsf) of the expansion that will ultimately provide 1,200 beds. The Negative Declaration evaluates the entire 1,200 beds. The Dining Commons Expansion will be a two-story addition to the existing facility, with dining functions on the second floor and other student services and recreation housed on the first floor. The expansion would add 19,630 asf, and increase the seating capacity from 464 seats to 900 seats.
