The project sites consists of an 11.6-acre parcel in the unincorporated portion of Contra Costa County and adjacent to the Dublin Ranch West project in the City of Dublin. The site is vacant and contains moderate north-facing slopes.
Document Description
The project involves the construction of up to 1,023 residential units (including low, medium, and medium-high density homes) in 6 neighborhoods on 91.7 acres. Additional, there will be internal open space areas on 4.1 acres, 2 neighborhoods on 7.1 acres, a public use site on 1.3 acres, a storm water detention basin and storm water outfall on 2.9 acres, trails on 1.9 acres, and 2 access bridges and roadways (including widening of a portion of Tassajara Road) on 4.0 acres. The total acreage of the Project area is 159.0 acres, of which 137.9 acres will be permanently impacted, 15.7 acres will be temporarily impacted, and 5.4 acres have been avoided and will not be impacted by the Project construction activities. The Project will result in permanent impact to 136.8 acres of California tiger salamander habitat; Project-related impacts are expected to result in the take of California tiger salamander, a species protected by CESA. CDFW is issuing the ITP referenced above as a responsible agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
