The Zone 7 Water Agency has revised certain aspects of the Altamont Pass Pipeline project, which involves construction and operation of a buried potable water pipeline, approximately 11 to 12 miles in length. The gravity-driven pipeline would be up to 48 inches in diameter and sized for a peak capacity of 42 million gallons per day.
