Document Description
The proposed project is the formation of a new project area known as Project Area No. 4 and the subsequent merger of it to the three existing project areas. The Merged Project Area consists of approximately 1,403 acres in the City of La Mirada. The redevelopment goals for the project include, but are not limited to: To provide a procedural and financial mechanism by which the City of La Mirada Redevelopment Agency can assist public and private development, to provide adequate infrastructure, to improve and expand public facilities, to support the City's housing efforts to increase, improve and preserve the community's supply of affordable housing for persons of low- and moderate-income, to improve and expand the commercial sector. Activities of the project may include: Acquisition of real property, public improvements, residential and commercial rehabilitation low-interest loans and/or grants.
