Document Description
The purpose of this project is to remove the Cascades Diversion Dam from the Merced River corridor, as it is an unnatural obstruction and limits the free-flowing condition of the river. In addition, the dam is classified as a high hazard structure. The dam, abutments, the intake structure, and above ground portions of the screenhouse would be removed.
