Document Description
FYI The 2013 Master Plan Update (Plan) evaluates the Water Authority's ability to continue to meet its water supply obligations. The Plan identifies proposed improvement projects that would enhance reliability and serve projected water demands in the San Diego region. This would include a pipeline conversion project, the installation of system isolation valves, the installation of a regulatory system storage tank, upgrades and a new power supply to the existing San Vicente Reservoir Pump Station, and the rehabilitation, repair, or replacement of existing infrastructure components. The Plan also includes preparation of a Climate Action Plan, which includes both GHGE reduction strategies and adaption measures to ensure the Water Authority's water supplies, infrastructure, and services will accommodate the potential impacts of climate change.
