Coastal Development Permit (CDP) and request for the release of community development block grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of $2,000,000 from fiscal year 2000 to allow for a 15,000 square foot expansion, preservation and restoration of the Ocean Beach Library located at 4801, 4817-482, Monica Avenue and 1902 Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in the Ocean Beach Community Planning Area. The project would involve the construction of a poetry garden, restoration and preservation of City of San Diego Historic Site No. 565, and construction of an adjacent parking lot.
