Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0210-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, to the following Project Applicants: 1) Santa Barbara County Flood Control District, represented by Seth Shan; and, 2) the University of California Natural Reserve System Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve, represented by Andrew J. Brooks. The Santa Barbara County Flood Control District portion of the Project consists of routine maintenance activities involving sediment removal and desilting from basins within Franklin Creek and Santa Monica Creek. These activities will be accomplished using a crane rigged with a dragline. Sediment will be temporarily stockpiled on an existing access road until it has been dewatered and can safely be removed and disposed of upland. See NOD for full details.
