The project involves implementation of uncompleted components of the Carpinteria Salt Marsh Enhancement Plan, and Hydraulic dredging of both upper and lower Franklin and Santa Monica Creeks withi Surf zone disposal (beach nourishment), expansion of the existing staging-stockpile area adjacent to Franklin Creek and as-needed maintenance of the Avenue del Mar drainage system including excavation of tidal channels in the South Marsh.
