The project consists of the permitting and operation of the Northwest "B" IX Facility and Well 31 located within the Chino Groundwater Basin. The Northwest "B" IX Facility will treat water with high nitrate levels from a well shared by the City of Chino and the Monte Vista Water District. Well 31 is one of six new wells proposed in the Chino Groundwater Basin Dry-Year Yield program. Well 31 produces 1,500 gpm and will be connected to an existing 12-inch diameter distribution line along Richton Street.
