Document Description
Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-1007 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601. The project is located in Lake County along State Route 20 at PM 17.2. This project is only for 10 hand auger holes to be bored into the bed of Lucerne Creek. The auger bore testing is for archaeological studies prior to a larger culvert extension project. There is no riparian vegetation in this area and the work will be done during the summer months when the creek is dry. The actual work will employ a 10 cm diameter bucket auger. Upon completion of the test hole, the material will be placed back into the holes and compacted to reduce future erosion.
