Construct and moor an approximately 50-foot replica sampan (historic wooden Chinese sailing boat) at China Camp Village in China Camp State Park to enhance ongoing interpretive programs and visitor experience. Prepare shrimp drying platform and Frank Quan's shop for temporary use during boat construction. Sail boat to San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park to be moored during winter months. This project is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding between the California Department of Parks and Recreation and the National Park Service.
