These regulations establish the appliciable criteria and procedures for Department procurement of Architectural and Engineering (A&E) services related to (1) response actions at hazardous substance sites and (2) corrective actions at hazardous waste facilites. These regulations will only permit the selections of A&E contractors on a site-specific basis.

These regulations would establish internal procedures to be used by the Department in selecting contractors based on their availability, ability to do the work, and cost. They only establish administrative procedures for the contractor selection process and will not effect the quality, quantity, location or prioritization of any cleanup work undertaken by the Department. They do not have the potential to result in significant environmental impacts.
