Document Description
The water from this well is contaminated with naturally occurring H2S, which creates taste problems and has a rotten egg smell. California Water Service Company is proposing to construct two GAC vessels and a sodium hypochlorite tank. The GAC vessels will remove the H2S from the water, and the Sodium hypochlorite solution will keep bacteria from growing on the carbon bed within the GAC vessels.
