Amendment 1 modifies the levee breach along Grizzly Slough by shifting it south by approximately 200 feet, modified the 1000 feet of the northern-most segment of the main restoration tidal channel to be realigned approximately 400 feet west, added a new low berm with drainage outlet (one-directional-flow culvert(s)) along the eastern edge of the realigned tidal channel segment, added approximately 3,300 feet of additional tidal channel in the central area of the project (in upland agricultural lands), and revised permanent project impacts to habitat to reflect an overall decrease in impacts and an overall increase in total habitat creation.
