Document Description
The proposed project consists of cutting the York Creek diversion structure down to stream grade and restoring this section of channel to a natural streambed. The slope of the restored creek bed shall not exceed 13.5%. The streambed slope and step-pool configuration will be constructed to replicate the natural boulder cascade habitat that currently exists upstream of the project. The project location is Spring Mountain Road and Elmhurst Avenue, City of St. Helena, County of Napa, Township 8N, Range 6W, Section 26. The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0663-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Jonathan Goldham/City of St. Helena.
