Document Description
The project proposes changing existing conditions on private non-industrial forestlands in order to reduce the effects of wildland fire on the community of Weaverville through: treating ground fuels; thinning; harvesting; and establishing fire breaks. Activities will include timber harvest; skid trail, landing, and road construction; construction and/or use of stream crossings; prescribed burning; slash piling; chipping and/or other treatments.
