The project wiill update the Sonoma County General Plan to reflect changes in laws, information and conditions since 1989, including amendments to the Land Use, Agricultural Resources, Open Space / Resources Conservation, Public Safety, Circulation and Transit, Nose, Air Transportation, and Public Facilities and Services elements and development of a new Water Resources Element. It will also change area plans, specific plans and zoning to make them consistent with the new General Plan.
