The City of Calistoga has prepared a Draft Comprehensive Update to the City's existing General Plan. The Update involves reorganization and revisions to elements of the existing General Plan and a series of General Plan land use designation changes. The proposed General Plan contains the following elements: Land Use, Community Identity, Circulation, Housing, Infrastructure, Public Services, Open Space and Conservation, Noise, Public Safety, Geothermal, and Economic Development. This project description describes the proposed General Plan Update and the planning process that created it. The EIR will provide an assessment to the 2003 General Plan Update that was published on January 3, 2003.
