Document Description
Kern Community College District has had a long-term commitment to provide higher educational programs and services to residents of the Delano area. Beginning in 1973, Bakersfield College began offering college-level classes in the community. Since that time, student enrollment has continued to grow and the college now has a permanent site adjacent to the high school and, due to enrollment growth, is leasing classroom and laboratory space from the high school.
