Document Description
Access to potable water is a basic requirement in urbanized areas and the City of San Diego Water Department serves more than 1.2 million people populating more than 200 square miles of developed land. The primary objective of the Project is to maintain a reliable source of potable water through the maintenance, repair, and for some segments, replacement of the aging Otay II Pipeline. In addition, the Water Department proposes to upgrade the cathodic protection system to minimize adverse effects of corrosion along new and old segments of the pipeline.
