Document Description
The Project will adopt and implement a Redevelopment Plan Amendment in the City of Riverside. The Amendment Area consists of four non-contiguous sub-areas encompassing an approximate total of 235 acres, and is the focus of this environmental assessment. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside has proposed the Project for the purpose of alleviating blight and promoting reinvestment in the Amendment Area. Although no development or construction is proposed at this time, implementation of the Redevelopment Plan Amendment is expected to facilitate infrastructure improvement and rehabilitation activities consistent with the adopted City of Riverside General Plan.
