Document Description
Hanson Aggregates West, Inc. currently operates an aggregate mine and processing plant in accordance with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) issued in 1980, which permits dredging in the existing water body throughout the year 2005, to a depth of 150 feet above mean sea level (msl), or approximately 200 feet below the surrounding surface grade elevation. The proposed project involves the continued excavation/processing operations at the site to an elevation of 0 feet msl through the year 2030, and implementation of a reclamation plan which would result in an ultimate end use combining commercial, industrial, and recreational uses, and a 330-acre freshwater lake.
