Document Description
The proposed project is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the construction and operation of an adult day facility providing treatment and services for adults with mental handicaps. The proposed facility will consist of a two-story building (10,062 sq.ft. of building area), and twenty-nine (29) parking spaces. Primary auto access to the site is provided on Mulberry Drive and on La Mirada Boulevard. The facility will operate from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The anticipated client capacity of the proposed facility will be a maximum of 45 (forty-five) adult clients who will be transported by a maximum of ten (10) vanpools to the facility each morning at 9:00 am and from the facility at 1:30 pm. A maximum of fifteen (15) employees are anticipated to work at the facility, Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Ten of these employees will work 8:30 am to 2:30 pm; five will work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
