Document Description
Two conditional use permits to authorize installation of wireless telecommunications facilities on two separate utility poles in the Santa Moncia Mountains. 2.46 cubic feet of equipment will be placed on each utility pole. CUP02-064 requests authorization for placement of two 8" cable extension arms (CEA) and 3 sector antennas at 32" above ground, a 23" high Telco, and an equipment cabinet placed on an existing 45" high utility pole. CUP02-068 requests authorization for placement of two 8" CEA and 2 sector antennas at 29'8" above ground, 2 Telcos (28'8" and 27'8" above ground, and an equipment cabinet on an existing 50'-high utility pole. CUP02-064 is located within Trances Canyon Significant Watershed and CUP02-068 within Zuma Canyon Significant Watershed and both require an ERB review. Both projects will receive power from existing power lines on the poles and neither will neccessitate trenching. Cooling fans will not be used for these projects.
