The site is zoned CD-3 (Central District Sub-area 3: Civic Center) and is located within the boundaries of the Central District Specific Plan. The project site is presently developed with a Conference Center facility, the Historic Pasadena Civic Auditorium as well as an Ice Rink/Ballroom facility. The site is immediately adjacent to the Pasadena Sheraton Hotel.
Document Description
The existing Pasadena Conference Center, a two-story, 42,000 square foot structure with 850 prking spaces, was constructed in the early 1970s. The Exhibition Hall space has a 4,000 square foot lobby and 32,000 square feet of unobstructed floor area. There is parking for 850 vehicles located in two levels of underground. The Pasadena Civic Auditorium is located in the center of the project site.
