Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to repair erosion damage to drainage areas by filling eroded areas with soil, stone, and/or rock on the west side of Diamond Valley Lake, install a gate in an existing chain-link fence for Southern California Edison access onto Metropolitan property on the north side of the Wadsworth Pumping Plant, and conduct a controlled burn to accomplish vegetation removal in the vicinity of the East Recreation Dam.

The proposed projects consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing public structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topograhical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's dtermination. The projects also consist of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. The projects also consist of the construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; installation of a small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing small structures from one use to another where only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure. The projects consist of the minor public alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
