Document Description
Clear Taber Meadow in Standish-Hickey State Recreation Area of non-native trees, Scotch Broom, French Broom, Himalayan blackberry; and revegetate with native trees and shrubs. Area will be cleared with hand tools, planting native trees, shrubs, and grasses as stock becomes available and removing non-native trees as native trees become established. Removal of non-native species will continue until seedbank is exhausted or natural regeneration no longer occurs. This project will restore native vegetation to the meadow and enhance visitor experience.
