City staff proposes a generator siting ordinance that would establish location, design, operation, and noise requirements and City review procedures for the following types of facilities: turbines and engines that generate electricity, emergency backup generators, fuel cell facilities, photovoltaic facilities, and wind energy facilities. Nuclear power facilities would not be allowed.
