Stanford University proposes to construct a 75,000 square foot Recreation Center at the existing site of Encina Gymnasium. The Arrilaga Family Recreation center will be designed to serve as a central facility to accommodate recreation, health and fitness activities currently dispersed throughout the campus. The facility will serve students, faculty and staff and is consistent with the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER) Master Plan and addresses the key department goals.
