Document Description
New Economics for Women (NEW) has acquired approximately 2.174 acres of property to accommodate the construction of a proposed turnkey elementary charter school to serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade. An "L"-shaped two-story classroom building is proposed constructed and is expected to include approximately 45,229 square feet of new building area and 39,850 square feet of playground area. The project consists of a library administrative building, and underground parking structure with 54 parking spaces, multipurpose room, kitchen, lunch shelter, playground, and basketball courts. This new elementary school will relieve Canoga Park Elementary School.
