Document Description
The proposed groundwater test well location is located in the West Baldwin Hydrologic Subunit. The objective of the proposed Sawmill Well Test Site is to locate a municipal water supply well in the West Baldwin Hydrologic Subunit to meet demand of existing and future customers. The proposed test well would provide the DWP with information to assess the quantity and quality of groundwater at this location. If the test results indicate that the Sawmill Test Well is suitable for conversion to a production well, the DWP will perform a second-tier evaluation of this section based on the procedures outlined in the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15162 and 15168.
