Document Description
The project consists of the expanding the existing chlorine disinfection system at RP-1 by adding a chlorine contact basin. The project will add approixmately 15.4 million gallons per day of chlorination capacity to the existing RP-1 basin, for a total RP-1 disinfection capacity of 50.4 mgd. The project will also involve the addition and upgrade of pumps at RP-1 site to provide a total future flow rate of 25,263 gallons per minute (gpm). The ultimate capacity of the RP-1 pump station will be 41,666 gpm. The last component of the project involves improvements at the RP-4 facility. These improvements will consist of three sets of pumps to provide a total flow rate of 8,100 gpm. The ultimate capacity of the RP-4 pump station if 33,333 gpm.
