Document Description
The Project will replace an existing ford crossing with a bridge at the same location and on the same alignment. Bridge construction will be a two railroad flat cars with a wooden deck placed on concrete abutments. The structure will clear span Hatch Creek. The new bridge will be approximately 53 feet long and 22 feet wide. The Operator will construct reinforced concrete bridge abutments on the banks of Hatch Creek. The excavation for each abutment (including wingwalls) will be approximately 30 feet long, 5 feet wide and 7 feet deep. These abutments will support the railcar bridge.
