Document Description
Issue a temporary construction easement and a longterm sewer line easement to Sacramento County, along the levee roud that serves as the entrance to Delta Meadows River Park. The temporary easement will encompass 3200 square feet of property at the northerly end of the primary easement, which wil be 15 feet wide and approximately 1000 feet in length. Sacramento Count proposes to install a 4-inch sewer line along the primary easement and will operate and maintain the sewer line for the term of the easement agreement. The new sewer line will replace a deteriorating, existin, privately owned sewer system serving the community of Locke. The levee road and park entrance will remain open throughout construction. The esement will provide legal access and use of this property to Sacramento County, while protecting park resources and public health, and providing a potential wastewater treatment option for future park facilities. Environmental review of the sewer project is available in the Sacramento County Locke Sewer Rehabilitation, CSD-1 Sphere of Influence Amendment and Annexation to CSD-1 Initial Study/Negative Declaration, filed with the Governor's Office of Planning and Research (SCH#1999062085-June 21, 1999).
