Document Description
Caltrans proposes the maintenance of lateral ditches and grading of an existing dirt access road that leads into Ish Keesh Ranch. The ranch is owned by the Karuk Tribe who would like to obtain fill dirt and excess materials in order to restore the landscape back to its original contours. The ranch is located within the limits of the historic Richardson Bedrock Mine, which is located northeast of the community of Happy Camp, Siskiyou County. A phased approach is being utilized in order to conduct the identification and evaluation efforts for this project. The Enviornmental Study Limits for this phase of the project is limited to the existing dirt access road.
