Document Description
The project will have three major phases because of the conditions and requirements to meet mobility access required by California State Codes and Regulations Title 24 ADA. The comfort station will be a mobility access unisex series 300 facility, 450 sq. ft. Phase I. The project consists of the demolition and removal of existing facility and all immediate utilities including access routes to the facility from parking areas. Phase II. The project will be complete construction of one new restroom facility with six commodes and six sinks, one outdoor shower to meet mobility access standards. The foundation, infrastructure, and roofing will be as such materials used in marine grade to with stand the coastline environmental conditions, including plumbing (sewer & water), electrical systems. The facility will meet current mobility for doorway openings, proper sink height, and commode height. Phase III of the project will ensure all approaches to the facility and exterior/interior meet grade. All uniform building codes will be used, NEC, UBC, UPC.
