Document Description
Construct a shaded fuel break on approximately 13 acres adjacent to Robie Point Overlook at Auburn State Recreation Area to reduce potential wildfire threat to nearby residences. Prune trees and remove brush by hand, then chip debris and disperse over site or pile and burn in designated areas. Monitor and remoe exotic, invasive plant species by hand and/or herbicide (trade names "Rodeo", "Round-up", and 'Transline") on a reoccurring basis as necessary. Survey work area for cultural resources. Project protects public safety, preserves park resources, and supports continuing preventative wildfire suppression activities.
