Water Use Efficiency through the retrofit of dedicated landscape meters. The pilot project is designed to reduce customer capital outlay requirements, sculpt customer outreach marketing materials for measured landscape water use, and lower the perceived risk to any change in teh level of water service.

No impacts have been identified. This project involves retrofit of dedicated Landscape meters where existing meters are already in place with an urbanized setting. The project falls within the Statutory Exemption "approval of individual utility service sonnections and disconnections" under CEQA Section 15268 (b 4). Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structrues, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligilbe o r no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination. The types of "existing facilities" itemized below are not intended to be all-inclusive of the types of projects which might fall within Class 1. The key consideration is whether the project involves negligible or no expansion of an existing use.
