Document Description
Emergency repairs were made in response to three separate incidents at Famosa Boulevard. The first reapir was to an 8-inch cast iron main pipeline, the second repair was to a 6-inch cast iron pipeline 80 feet south of the first repair, and the third repair was to an 8-inch cast iron pipeline 70 feet north of the second break and approximately 10 feet south of the first break. Water and silt was discharged into the adjacent Famosa Slough. Temporary erosion control measures were implemented, and silt removed from the slough as much as possible. All work was monitored by a biologist.
