General Plan Designation: The parcel has two different zones/land use designations: General Industry and Exclusive Agriculture. The designation of the portion of the parcel where the tower is proposed is General Industry. Aracata General Plan 1985 (ARC66). Density: none specified. Note: Development is outside the Coastal Zone. This parcel is within the City of Arcata's sphere of influence and pre-zoned Agriculture Exclusive. Zoning: The parcel has two different zoning designations: Heavy Industrial with a Qualified combining Zone, and Agriculture Exclusive. The zoning of the portion of the parcel where the tower is proposed is Heavy Industrial with a Qualified combining zone. The "Q" zone prohibits any nontimber-related uses prior to the issuance of a CUP. No development is proposed for the AE portion which is within the Coastal Zone.

A lease agreement for a 40 foot by 25 foot portion of the approximately 80 acre parcel will be used for the cellular communications purposes.
