- Document Description
- Project activities will occur near the location of the existing railroad bridge that crosses over the Petaluma River and adjacent to a tidal slough northeast of the railroad track, in the City of Petaluma, southern Sonoma County. Project activities include installing an approximately 124-foot long and 23-foot wide retrofitted single leaf rolling bascule bridge over the Petaluma River. The existing bridge will remain in place during construction and will only be removed once the new bridge is installed and operable. The CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0035-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Bill Gamlen of Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District.
