Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace culverts that are under-capacity and install new culverts where needed in five counties on six different routes. Currenly insufficient flow capacities cause ponding that deteriorates structural integrity of the roadbed. Ponding produces flooding to adjacent properties. Excess ponding overflows onto the roadway causing safety hazards to motorist and requires maintenance to monitor and assist for safety.
