The Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works proposes to widen State Highway 116 at the intersection with the Sonoma County transfer station access road to provide an eastbound left-turn lane into the access road, and to flatten the existing vertical curve east of the intersection to improve the visiblity for drivers turning from the access road onto Highway 116.
