Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2006-0231-R6 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mr. Bruce Ivey representing the Upper Little Lake Ranch, Inc. The applicant proposes to alter Little Lake and associated creek and ponds, which includes replacement of existing dams and spillways and construction of new water conveyance and management structures; removal of sediment, enlargement of a basin and installation of sediment traps; removal of non-native and other vegetation and establishing of native riparian and wetland habitats; construction of earthwork to restore capacity for overbank flooding; realignment and extension of the creek channel; conducting a topographic survey and preparing engineering design; and implementation of various mitigation measures to reduce less-than-significant project impacts on the environment.
